Mountain biking courses

Hey,

I was just thinking. It would be really cool to learn some mountain biking skills rather than just read them. Does anybody in the Vancouver/North Van area know of any decent Mountain bike schools or instructors ?

Thank you Maelstrom. I am kind of hoping for a couple of private sessions to get started as I don't want to end up with a bunch of riders who are way above my skill level.

Anyway, I will check it out.
I have heard a little about Ryan Leech but he seems pretty well respected.

Ryan leech is great. We also have courses up here to for beginner to advanced. IT all depends on the terrain and skills you already have. WCSMB offers private lessons. I have been considering asking some friends if they want to take the class so I can go through it. Their trials / dj park is suppost to be aweomse to play in

I would definetely be in the beginner classes. I am glad they offer private lessons. I don't care about the cost....at least I would be able to work on whatever skills I want.

I just have to get a ride out there somehow. Do you know if it is close to any of the main bus routes out of Vancouver so at least I could get near and cycle from the stop ?
