Have you used this Crankset yet? I saw an old post of yours that said you got one new but didn't need it right now. How about an update on this please.

I might be purchasing one later this week, Thanks.

I have never used it, still setting in the box awaiting an "emergency". Only downside I see to it is that it is an anchor, thing weighs a ton. Personally if I were to buy a crankset with external bearings to use close to the same price range I would go with a Shimano LX.

If you do decide to go with an LX crankset instead, jensonUSA is having a sweet clearance sale on them only 85$

WOW, that is an amazing price! Is that for the external bb or the older model?

I was just on jensonusa.com looking at those and it is for the HTII external bb version in 170mm w/44,32,22 rings or 48,36,26. For some reason the 175mm length cranks are still $161.99. If ya need cranks then that one's hard to pass up!

Razrcide. I had the Gamma crank on my Iron Horse and it just didn't perform very well. It could work for you though, but I just think there's better options out there like the LX or Hone. Jensonusa still has the Hone crankset on sale for $130 I believe, which is what I use and love.
