Trueing your Disc Brakes?

How do you retrue your disc brakes? I had my rim off to transport and the disc got bent pretty bad. Can I take it to a local bike shop and have them fix it or do I have to buy replacement?

The actual disc is bend so it rubs on my pads really bad. All I want know is if I have to buy a new disc or if they can straighten it.

If I am buying a new disc are they all the same? What do I need to look for?

While you have the wrench out, straighten your bent chainrings too.
