why I will have to eat mac and cheese for six months (aka my new yeti)
Thanks for all the advice on choosing a new bike. I ultimately decided to go with the Yeti for no other reason than I liked it the best. My new project is to build a bike from the bare frame so I am sure I will seek the advice of this forum. In the mean time I will try and get in as much saddle time as possible. Shine.

Regarding mac and cheese:
It's not the box, it's how you cook it.

BTW, I love Yeti's, I almost (this close: holding thumb and index finger out) bought an AS-X last year!
If I lived somewhere where I could justify a DH bike, I'd get a Yeti DH-9

Whoa...talk about getting off topic.
re: ramen- ever read the back of those packages? not that mac and cheese is much better though....
Thanks for the compliments on the bike. I had an opportunity to ride around a little last night after I picked it up. So far no complaints. Light and quick steering. Still getting used to the egg beaters. I will hopefully be able to hit the trails in a major way soon and will give a full report. Thanks.

This is a very casual site. No rules about being on topic here. Just have fun a relax...
Nice bike and congrats...
