Yeah I see what you mean, I took the picture right after I assembled the bike, didn't pay attention to where the chain was, other than the pedals missing in the picture anyone notice something else missing?
it didn't come in the box with the bike and I can't ride it yet, any guesses.

Let us know how that new I-drive feels like to ride. Me likes to know

Got my new ride finally built up... my first real ground-up build and my first set of good parts. I've been adjusting and reconfiguring for a couple weeks now, and with the X.7 derailleurs and the new brake levers, I'm good to go.

Should I be cleaning the upper parts of the fork regularly? The dirt rings of how far it compressed is kindof neat looking.

My new toy
Retiring the old Rockhopper for a Blur XC. Got the whole bike for a steal on Chainlove for 1550.00
. Currently weighs 26.6 lbs. and will be my primary race bike. I haven't taken it on the trails yet since I have the cold from hell

I do believe the adapter was changed. The brakes were fitted by a bike shop, I didn't do them, myself.

I added another metal washer/spacer on the mount today, fixed the problem.
I actually had an issue with the outer edge of the rotor scraping the caliper itself after a hard brake, so the extra washer moved it out enough to fix that problem too.

My new bike. Just finished building it yesterday.
Frame is 20" 2009 Vassago Jabberwocky. I'm loving it so far - only one ride though

Thanks
I'm pretty stoked about it. This is my first build, first time I got to choose all the parts. I went with XT hubs and stans rims, king headset, juicy 5s, truvativ gxp 1.1 cranks, surly 19t cog, raceface seat post and an azonic stem. It came in at 24.04 lbs.
I've ridden it once so far (Tuesday). My legs haven't been this sore since my first ride in 2006

New shoes for the bike. Would have loved to get another set of mountain kings but, couldn't turn the minions down.

P.S. I've discovered I'm a bigger flipper than you.
I'm on a set of 2.4" Supersonic's as we speak. I've gone all sorts of upside down.

Sadly the mtnkings I cut down the other day, and I pulled an operator error on the manitou, by having a post tab strip on it.
