Yeah, that's it.

It's actually put there on purpose to help controlling the bike in wet conditions.

The chain is perfectly tensioned, I'm a real stickler with chain tension. The dropouts are sliding dropouts.

first impressions on my King Earls is that they're pretty nice. The offset rim threw me off at first, I was like "WHAAA!?!?!" but its pretty schweet
