tires
my rear tire is about dead so im loking for a new one. i need a tire that does well in semi loose sand and on trails that are coverd in leaves. o and cheap is good :D

I picked up a Continental Gravity Pro not too long ago. It was pretty sweet for the last few rides of the season. For cheap, maybe a WTB Velociraptor? It's an oldie but a goodie.

check out panaracer.

Maxxis high roller?

The panaracer mythos/trialbears kick butt in leaves. The smallish hard knobs sort of cut through leafy carpets and stick to the trail.
I just came off some specialized resolutions that did really well for me in the conditions you described. I just switched out to a fatter tire. Otherwise I would have kept them for the winter. |
I've been using Velociraptors for years. Still a very good tire, for the conditions here in CT.
