Compairing pic #1 to pic #2, it looks like you were going a hell of a lot faster than Dirtgrinder

If you'll notice, I'm further up the hill and still going straight. Turning pics always look faster.
I doubt if anyone went down the hill faster than I did right then. I was extremely pi$$ed at the time. You can't see from the pic, but my chain is in my left hand. I was kickin' butt up until then. Even after pushing the last mile, no-one had passed me yet.
I wasn't in the same race category as Joe. Congrats Joe! And it was great to meet you.

    Thx,
    Good meeting you too.
I figured if you wanted anything said about the chain I would leave it up to you. Now you know how you will preform at the next race... be sure to get a new chain before then though..

I figured out what caused it. The popping I was hearing was actually my pos Formula hub again. It started slipping last week. I took it apart, (again), and cleaned it up. Thought it would make it through the race. It would slip a cog or two and then catch, hard. I really think that is what made the chain snap like that. The chain wasn't that old and not hardly stretched at all. I almost cancelled going to that race because of it. Guess I should have! It was fun anyway.
