Weinmann Rims?

I can not find a website for Weinmann bicycle products. I am looking for info on rims specifically. Does anyone know of a website or of another name Weinmann products might go by?

Weinmann Rims

I know you posted this about ten million years ago, but I recently found myself searching for the same thing and found it. The link to Weinmann Rims is

Thanks for the reply. I didn't even know that Weinmann was an Asian company.
The real problem is that I don't remember why I was needing info on Weinmann rims.

See what happens when you start aging a bit.

I would not buy Weinmann's. They suck IMO. Very flexy and will not stay true.

My only experience with Weinmann rims was back in the early 90's on a Trek bike. Never had any problems with them- but at that time I did not know what good wheels were. Think they can be bettered.

Ok, the website is here http://www.weinmanntek.com/
I myself don't like this brand, but end up buying it anyway, because of their price attractiveness, and so far, there seems to be nothing to dislike about it.

I think Weinmann used to be a real company. Based out of the Netherlands, maybe. They were common as dirt, and seemed pretty respectable, if unflashy. But they went belly up a number of years ago. Then the rights to the name was bought up and products put out there again. But they are all outsourced and rebranded. (Like almost everything else in the world today, I suppose.) So, our experience with their rims from the 80's is not really relevant. Maybe the newer stuff sold under their name is good, I really have no idea.

Weinmann might still have been around when this thread was started  Seems to me the company went out of business a ways back (horrible factory fire?), wouldn't surprise me someone was able to buy the name later. Very respectable in their day, though. Think I had not only Weinmann rims but also brakes on one of my old bikes...

I have an old Weinnman rim I bought for my old GT mtn bike. I abused it pretty good and it has held up.

Old thread, found by search. I have Wein Mann rims on my Schwinn. Back when I was a teen, I slammed a curb and it threw me off the bike. Didn't hurt the rim one bit. Almost 30 years later they are still true.
