Wheel setup

I've been looking for a new wheelset for a bit here and I was wondering what everyone's opinion on laceing type and the number of spokes to have for a dependable, durable XC wheel.

32 hole(if you are a smooth light weight rider you could get away with 28), 3x, 14/15g spokes.
