AP, I've found it - - the ultimate bling:

Token Titanium BB, carbon body, ceramic bearing option available. Part # TK873CT Supposed to be the ultimate weight-weenies' BB

See it here:
https://www.tokenproducts.com/2005/05...s.php?pc1id=30

Actual weight (with ceramic) is supposed to be 148.5:

dminor - that looks interesting, but, of course, I will have to run it by the kid.

I seriously don't understand why all you guys couldn't have made my life easier by just mouthing off on the BBs on my list. Do you all hate your mom, or what?

I am pulling your leg,as, of course, I know nadda about the ones on your list. You are out in blingland where I have never ventured for BBS.

I looked at the Hope and ControlTech sites too and neither seem to be a current product, I would take that as a sign to go with the KCNC. Bear in mind that, being Taiwanese, it may very well be house-badged FSA anyway.

dminor, you're such a dear! KCNC is trying to break into the US market; if I buy thier bottom bracket, I also figure I'll hit them up for sponsorship of some sort - either the kid or my loacl bike race.

dminor - Check out the weight of the bb you posted and then check the picture of my bb on the scale on the first page.

I know - - I did and thought I really had something until I paged back - - but I posted it anyway, figuring the ceramic bearings gave it a certain BQ (bling quotient)

EDIT = Besides, I know your scale - - I think it measures in "PinkBike grams"

You're spoiling that kid. I make girscout buy his own race parts. I bet he thinks I suck!

Hey Salsa, you better thank your lucky stars you don't live under my roof. Dude, you got it made.

Oh, he put in quite a bit towards this bike build - I'm thinking close to a grand. It's just cold outside, and I'm old & *****ing......
