Trek 880? Mountain Trail??

Can anyone tell me about the Trek 880, what group they came with, when they were made, what would be a reasonable price, etc? The vintage-trek site doesn't list that model at all, and a google doesn't turn up anything useful anywhere else.

I used to have a Trek 970 that's probably 20 years old by today. It was supposed to be the big, bad mountain bike back in it's day. A long time ago I knew someone with a Trek 880. All I knew was that it was a "really nice mountain bike."
