2007 stumpjumper fsr expert reviews.

I'm looking to pick one up today are there any problems with this bike? What's the best price you've seen? Should I get the Comp or Elite with no brain shock, or does having the brain make a big difference?

Having just gone through the same research you're doing, I found the brain fade shock was a nice feature, but not worth an extra grand to me personally. The one biker I've caught on the streets with the brain fade shock seemed to really like it but agreed it's not a necessity. The Comp is pretty sweet for what it is, the Elite for the most part just upgrades the groupo with some higher end components and the Talas front fork wtih height adjustability. The fork adjustability seems like the big thing to evaluate between the comp and elite, it's about five hundred bucks difference.

Oh also, most important, the black 2007 comp looks the best of their lineup
