I have ridden all three. I find the vps series to be far to cramped for my liking. I can't pedal a large while seated because my legs hit the handle bars. If you are a stand up rider 100% of the time this might not affect you. The shore is also a manualing machine, I find getting the front end up to be beyond easy.

g-spot and dirtbag are cut from the same cloth. Personally, I love both companies, but I prefer the dirtbag, go figure I own one.

Which is toughest, you would be splitting hairs to claim one is tougher than the other. They are all in the same family.

You're a tall guy though aren't you mael? Much taller than average? Perhaps the bike you rode was just too small for you and someone shorter might not have the same problems.

two-four, at some point you are just going to have to make a decision and pull the trigger on it.

Yes I am tall, I was just pointing out that vps's (even the large) have an untraditionally short cockpit. Regardless of my height that still applies, it has a very small cockpit.

But yes, it was easily excentuated by my height

The dirtbag is built long. Very nice feel. At 5'10 a medium should fit just fine.
