What is that sound???
Man check out this video! Steve Romaniuk killing it in utah! Man this guy can shred! Its f**king messed up that this guy don't get the same amount of respect as some of the big names in the sport! Does anyone know why? My question is what is that sound at 16 seconds? Its driving me insain! Is it the brakes, or the bearings being completely used to there limit by the insanely intense shreding???

Romaniuk gets tons of respect all most too much. Steve Romaniuk is defiantly a big name in freeride biking.
You have not even posted the video yet but my psychic powers tells me that noise is his hub. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

He probably do get alot of respect, but I stilll can't belevie specilized droped him out of no wheres! And hes never on any of the NWD films. Is there a reason for this? Is it because only people who can pull of huge tricks is in those videos? Than why is Carle dunne always in NWD? Steve can shred 10 times as good this guy!

Don't worry about it, lol! I don't care to much for grammar when writing these questions. Maybe I should!

I got Progression for Christmas and while he's not my favorite rider on there, I did enjoy his energy. He does have a certain charisma.
I agree though...I have read articles on people like Ryan Leech who are always "pimping" themselves. (forgive the term) They take every oportunity to plug the sponsors or show that they are in some way at least thinking progressively. I believe it gives them a more long term appeal to the sponsors. Good on them...they still have a job too. (Ryan's line was one of my fav's in K-6, I really liked Voreis wallride to 360' out though...fav trick)

I like Romanik as a rider, he is smooth and has balls as shown when he does that massive drop in The Collective. However he is a quiet rider, I see way more publicity from other riders, more specifically racers (prob easier for them to get exposure). From video's I've seen he looks to be quite fast aswell, does anyone here actually know how he would rate compared to a top 20 World Cup DH racer?

I would almost be willing to bet he could crack top 20 in a lot of races but I don't think he is on par with the top 10 specifically.
