I'm looking to convert the SISS for commuting duty. I was thinking a set of formulas to 650 rims. Will they fit ok? What's the difference between 650B and C?

I just took the front wheel off my wifes road bike, and put it on the front of a GF Tassahara. IT looks like it will work fine. The brake pads will have to come up in their adjustment slots about three eights of an inch. This was on a suspension fork, but it shouldn't be any different for a rigid.

I'm trying to figure out why do this--a 650 and a 26" are virtually the same size, and a wide variety of cheap high pressure slicks are available for 26" wheels.

Ritchey Tomslicks would be a good choice. They come pretty skinny 1.2? I think. And Specialized has the Fatboy it goes down to 1.0, as I recall.

Easier to swap tires than to set change brake setup back and forth.
