Another vs.

I know you guys probably get tired of reading these but here it goes. I have decided to get back into biking and after many trips to both department stores (yes I said it) and a couple of lbs's I've narrowed it down to two possibilities and would love some info from everyone. These bikes would be used mostly for paved and light dirt trails at least for now.

First up the Diamondback Peak 07

Next the Raleigh Mojave 2.0

Both at my lbs's for about $250

Also I've found the 06 Peak at Sports Authority for only $160.

I know everyone is against sports authority bikes but for a hundred dollars difference....

I would go for the 07 Peak. Just because the parts have had a year to "get better".

I guess they are all going to be the same in that price range. The only difference really is what color do you want.

Both have the same fork, the same gear systems. I do not know much about frames, so I would wait for someone to give you some input on that.

Diamond back and Raligh are the same company. The frame is the only difference,in most cases.Nothing wrong with either one.toss them all in the air and the one you catch you can buy.Or ride all three and the most comfortable it the best for you.
