Marzocchi MZ Race or RockShox Dart 2?

I am looking at bikes but I do not know which is the better fork. I am thinking Marzocchi but I really do not have a clue. The Marzocchi MZ Race fork is on the 2007 Giant Iguana and the Rockshox Dart 2 is on the Kona Blast. The Iguana is a more expensive bike to start off with but I have managed to get $75 off to make it $750 like the Kona. The Kona Dealer won't budge. (CDN Funds)

They seem to look like a similar bike, except the Iguana has better Derailer Components

I would take a MZ race over a Dart 2.

Kinda tricky though...I hate the Giant frame but it has slightly better components and in my opinion a nicer fork.

Well, I like the look of the blast but when I was test Riding it, the chain popped off. No big deal, I got it back on without getting off the bike but I dont know if this is regular because it hasnt been worn in or because of the low quality derailler components. Is this something that would warrant not getting the bike?

For what it's worth, my Cinder Cone has a Marzocchi MZ Race. I haven't had any problems with it to date.

They probably didn't have the stop screw on the derailleur properly adjusted. Once the stop is set it shouldn't come off while shifting anymore.

Alright, thats a good sign. I have been mainly looking at the Blast but I am going to look more seriously at the Iguana. Even though the Giant MTB frames look not so great on the website, they look good in person. Also the design of the frame is used in high end bikes to add more structural stability.
