Special Delivery!

Well, my swingarm finally arrived:

It's so funny how much bigger a 7" rotor looks than a 6". The new G2 has more spokes too:

Got a new video too...can ya guess?

Got some Juicy pad retainer clips, pads, fluid, and 185mm fork mount.

Now I'm just waiting on my stinkin' fork from PUSH Industries. When I read the reviews of PUSH in MBA, they said that they got their shock back in 1 week. I was stoked b/c I thought I had timed it all perfectly. I got an email from PUSH saying it would take 10-12 days in house. Sooo...I guess I'm still out of a bike for another week or so. 'Sokay...it's raining anyways.

I can't wait 'till next week.

Yeah...I actually emailed picturs of the frame to Jenson. They emailed the pic's to Jamis. They sent the swingarm to Jenson, who sent it to me.

I'm glad they didn't make me ship them my frame...that would have been costly and taken even more time.

Nice.

Did you receive one of the "newer" swing arms?

Well, it doesn't look like the new one so we'll see how it holds up.

The story I keep getting from Jamis and Jenson is that the material used during that time was defective. If it breaks again...I'll have them warranty it and I'll sell it. I'm still going to start saving for a frame JIK.

I specifically asked them "what measures have you taken to remedy this problem that seem to have occurred on many XLT's?" They told me about the material. I asked specifically if it was a design issue and they said "absolutely not". We'll see.

Good news is: Those who I have talked to that have had it happen, haven't had problems with the new ones.

Bad news is: I'm still waiting on my fork.
