Kona dealership
Does anyone know why the Kona dealers won't sell the bikes online?
Every site i have seen had a message similar to this on it
"Kona bikes ltd would prefer us not to sell their products online"
This is annoying, im gradually making a definite decision on the new bike, but this is putting me off (if i order from US i can get the Kahuna Deluxe for 800GBP, but if i get it from a dealership in the UK it will cost around 1100GBP)

It stops illegal selling of products. There are a few companies that do this. It is just a fact of life

Just checked their web site, they state that there bikes will be available for on-line purchase in USA and Europe soon. You can try to give them a call and see what they say. I know it's a long shot but if you have your heart set on a Kona worth a shot.

Dubland lol, sorry, yea Dublin is completely the other end of Ireland and Waterford isnt that far really, there is a dealer in Belfast which i am going to see, just to see my choices and to find out about deals etc.
Its more about the fact that i won't have enough cash to pay for a dealership bike, which would run about 1000-1100, whilst i can get it for 800-850 online. Maybe to you guys this difference isn't valid, as you don't get the aftermarket support you would from your LBS. Given that, im only 16, i have currently have two jobs, but even then im really pushing the boat out to get the bike i would like.
To be honest i think the Giant XtC SE2 would suit me better, STOCK it weighs 24lbs, and its a hardtail, would suit my style better than my current dualie.
Thanks anyway for clearing this up and taking the time to reply see you all soon.
