Wore the heck out...

I decided to take Wednesday through Friday off this week to get some riding in. On Wednesday I built a log ride with a friend and spent most of the evening riding over and falling off of it. Yesterday I went out to a local trail with some friends and rode most of the day. Today, I hurt everywhere. My upper body from carrying 100lb logs and my legs from hammering around the trails and over obstacles. I really want to ride today, but I don't think I'll survive. What's a guy to do?

Have you ever ridden too much? What's a good recovery plan? I've been popping ibuprofen like they were orange pez, drinking plenty of water, and trying to relax a bit to no avail. Maybe I should spend a day inside. :)

Head on out for a recovery ride and only take your herb and you will feel just fine. :D

well, you could sell your bikes. or you could stop being a siss and go ride. once you get your legs moving they will stop hurting.

Yeah, I'm half tempted to hit the trail. I've been buzzing around that obstacle we made and I'm just itching to run down the singletrack.

Thanks for the "tough love", you've successfully motivated me to get my arse out on the trail! :D

Keep riding until you don't hurt the following day. Then can you take a break.

I only stop riding when I break bones. (Depends which bone) Toes aren't bad fingers are bad especially the thumb. Your legs are the worst. So quit whining just go ride. I wish I could ride right now. My leg is broke.
