Anyone from Green Bay, WI?

I'm somewhat new to the area and haven't had much time to find the trails around here. I've been out to bairds creek a bunch of times but thats been about the only place I rode last summer. What are some other good places around here and which one dries out first in the spring? :) With all this warm weather I want to get out riding but I know that bairds is going to be a sloppy mess for quite a while. Any other ideas for places to ride would be greatly appreciated.

The refor camp is the best. Kewaunee has some. Thats all that are close, but calumet county park has some too. Kettle Morain, Blue Mounds. I like 9 mile in Wausau. Thats the best place in the state.

I personaly think Wisconsin has nothing to ride unless your a roadie. There some really cool places to ride on the road.

Are you planning on racing?

even though I live here it sucks for pretty much everything I like to do. Snowboarding and biking. But there's enough terrain to not go insane

Yeah, Baird's creek is going to be a mess for a while. Calumet county park has a well-maintained loop on its sledding hill not too far from GB. They close the trails under bad conditions, so give them a call before going (http://www.co.calumet.wi.us/departme...ml?dept_id=34).

Oh, and don't knock the Pack.

Thanks for the input. I'll check the reforestation camp out when it dries up. I guess I'll have to settle on trying to ride up stairs for the time being. I can't wait for bairds though. There are some scary bits out there.

Haha, not true! I'm from northern WI and we have lots of kick ass trails!

I suppose up thier the area would have some nice places. I've never been in that area except for camping. It’s quit beautiful in the fall.

The Reforestation camp dose not open for 3 weeks still. And Berids creek is so sloppy. I was their yesterday. Calumet County I would think would be a mess too, if they were open. I dont think they are.

I hear there is a nice place over by Kewaunee. Has anyone ridden that?

I have not rode out there yet, they had a WORS race out there last year. supposd to pretty nice. I could not find it on the web now, but last year I printed off a map of the trail. so I know with a little seaching you can find it. the Zoo trails here are real nice. set to open next weekend. I don't know if that is depending on how dry it gets between now and sat? We have about 3 inches of nice new wet snow.

I've never gone to the reforest camp but I think I'll check it out this Saturday.
