kona blast...
any of you have this bike? do you like it? i hard it has a stiffer frame then the others?
i like the look of the 2006 blast.... but the nearest dealer i know of is 250 miles away...
Freewheel Shimano Deore (11-32t, 8speed) ah? so it has 8 gears? its slower then a 21+ sifter?

Kona bikes, like Trek, Specialized, etc. are dealer only bikes. They are not mail order bikes.

At some point you're gonna need to decide for yourself and get a bike.

[Edit] Of course, others here can probably give you some opinions on why they feel that Kona sucks.

For example: My Gran Mal has a 24" TT. Divide that by two rings and that's a half-case. On DH days when I'm running a single ring, I can treat myself to a whole case. (No deuctions are necessary for the presence of a bashring). If I'm on a bike with a 25" TT and use 3 rings, that's 8.33 which rounds up to 12.
