First spring ride...

bought my bike couple of months ago and have not had a chance to ride it at all, the local trails have been closed due to muddy conditions. They were re opened this week so decided to go for a ride. Took some time off from work due to family issues and decided it was a good time to clear my thoughts and what better way then to go for a ride. In the trails I was rewarded with good weather and the trails were just perfect.

Took a picture to share with you guys and for those of you that are still in winter mode hang in there it's just a matter of time.

Very cool. I'm still waiting for a couple of trails around here to open up. We expect to get more rain this weekend, which I'm really tired of now. Between that and my sickness, my riding has fallen behind.

BTW- I hope the family issues get straightened out. I know a good ride usually helps me.

Very nice and have fun, I got out this evening for a 14 mile trail ride and I was only 5 minutes off my better times last year. I didn't want to get to crazy but wasn't it great just getting out there for the first time this year, it was 60 degrees. I have been doing some road rides up till today but the trail was perfect and fast.

Nice photo. Thanks for sharing.

I understand what you guys mean about riding being a great stress reliever. Thursday I had to go to a meeting with a customer, and the particular person I had to deal with is a bit of an @$$. But I was riding that day after work, and every time I looked in the rearview mirror, a smile came to my face (I have a hitch rack )

Hey Bike Lover, what trails do you usually ride? I rode PLRA last Thursday and conditions were just about perfect. It sounds like Stony Creek is in good shape now too, and that's my usual after-work ride.
