Go to the nashar website and look up some good deals on less agressive treads. There are many to choose from I prefer Michelin Country Rock MTB Tire 26 x 1.75 . I use it for town riding and it is good in rain. I live in Montana, and we have crappy pothole, dirt roads, and occasion nice smooth asphalt roads. Rides smooth less resistance. I highly recomend them.

The "enjoy life" part you wrote was just me stating that it was very important that the bike fit and that he felt comfortable.

Correct translation! I speak English but only with the 'English' French words, A'strine, Afrikaans, and can understand some Hillbilly.

In Lasalle there is a shop called Bicycle Eddy, they have web site if you want the exact address. Go check them out, they know what do.

I have a mountain bike too, with slick tires (someone showed a picture of such bike on the first page). Slick tires are not necessary, it's alright to ride with mb tires. It's just that you won't be able to keep up with speedy roadies, that's all.

Excellent, how much French did you learn?
Thanks. I am just a French student, so I know a little bit. Alot of words I don't know, so its hard for my sentences to flow.

I just know a couple of tenses. Futur proche, futur simple, passe compose, particple present, present, conditionnel, imparfait, imparatif, there is a few more that I cannot remember. Alot of irregular verbs, but being a 2nd language, its a hard thing to learn.

My mother also used to live in Montreal. Elle est travielle dans un chinois restaurant, je ne connait pas ou.

(ou = where?)

Pretty cool. Yes, "où" is "where", but "ou" is "or".

I finally bought a bike, in the first store I went to look. The guy who worked there was very nice and helped me get the best bike for my budget and my use, and my height, etc. etc. Definitely not like CanadianTire, walmart, etc.

I bought a 22 inch Hybrid for 500$. :-) Moutain bike is not good if of most of the riding u do is on road.

I can feel a huge difference between this bike and my old mountain bike. With this I'm flying. Thought i'd give ya all an update ;-) Thanks
