White Mountain Bike Tires?
Greetings all! First time poster, lucky enough to stumble across these forums!
I've been searching everywhere... online, local shops etc. for white mountain bike tires. Has anyone here ever seen white mountain bike tires? They would look really good on my new bike! I used to ride white BMX tires back in the day and am finding it hard to beleive that there just aren't white mountain bike tires. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance and enjoy your rides! -Loki0063

Thanks Quick, I had tried sweetskinz w/o any luck.
Shiggy, I'm guessing you're right. I think I've looked just about everywhere there is to look at this point :/
Do you happen to know of any mid to even low end mtb tires in production? I'd still like to check them out if so. Thanks again. -Lok

The elusive white Mountain Bike Tire?
Greetings to all! This is my first time posting here. I was with my girlfriend one evening and happen to glance over her shoulder as she was perusing the internet, I exclaimed "wait a minute, book mark that photo!" The photos in question (photograph numbers 678/769,679/769,681/769 and 688/769) are from a yahoo news article listed as Emporio Armani Mens 2010 Spring/Summer Fashion show in Milan within the title article "Hugo Boss Orange: Sky Blue In Deep East." The photographs show a professional mountain bike rider performing his biking skills on the runway on a mountain bike equipped with "white rubber mountain bike tires." Click on the main news article photo of the brunette walking the cat walk, then click forward on the news service slide show to avoid all the other fashion photographs. Long ago I had a set of Onza White Porcupines on my Merlin Titanium mountain bike. I can no longer find a brand manufactured in white rubber. On 04/28/07 Loki0063 posted the inquiry,"where can I find "white mountain bike tires?" More than one year after I ask this same question. If anybody knows of a manufacture or the type of tires identical in the afore mentioned yahoo news article, please send me any information pertaining to these tires. I'm hoping to receive a response from this inquiry! Thank you for your knowledge and perchance I should find out who manufactures them, then you will also be informed. Best regards to all. Ciao!-Carlos.

Better you should have started a new thread rather than dig up one more than 2 years old, but what the hey......
OK, so I ran down to my basement a grabbed an old NOS Panaracer XC Magic folding tire. Not exactly white, though. Kinda beige, pretty much like this pic:

First time to make a mistake!
Greetings Tom! Thank you for that bit of information and the photograph. I concur about starting a new thread pertaining to this issue. As for those mountain bike tires that I mentioned on this forum,as seen on that Armani fashion show in the yahoo article this past week-end, do you suppose they were old stock? I'm still hunting because those tires on that bike appear to be brand spanking new. I will let everyone know if I uncover this holy grail! Best regards to you and thank you once again for you time in responding to my inquiry. Ciao!- Carlos.

Being that it was a 'fashion' thing, it think it may be possible that the tires were painted white for the pure stage effect.

That's the ticket!
This is the image that I mentioned in my first post. Since then I've been determined to find white mountain bike tires and I have! At www.everybicycletire.com, I found the Geax Tattoo 26 X 2.30 (white) and the Geax Mezcal Folding 26 X 2.10 (white). I don't dispute the possibility that some fashion director had to have "white" tires for their fashion show's bicycle and may have painted them white. The wear and tear of these tires wouldn't be an issue for a one time ride down the runway. My gratitude to all those who shared their information with me and others. Best regards and enjoy your Summer rides. Ciao!- Carlos.
