Solutions for Cable Rub on front of bike?
If anyone can assist with a solution for cable rub on the front of my bike I would appreciate it. It seems to be the front wheel mechanical disk brake cable. The cable has already made it way through the paint. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Your local bike shop will have clear plastic self adhesive stickers to prevent such things from happening. I have even used electrical tape in the past.

I use the lizard skins carbon thing a ma jiggy's. Seem to work alright.
It seems to last longer for me than clear tape so I figure it's worth the $5.

I use clear "number plate backing," available through any moto shop. It's thick and durable with strong adhesive, and 12 bucks will get you enough to do your whole bike.

gastro goes moto?
Hey that gives me an idea; you could go with Ceet or Factory Effex graphics and do your frame head-to-toe in Honda, Yamaha, KTM or Suzuki Kawasaki

If you can rip through the woods on it, I'm there dude! I had a few, all Hondas of the XR and XL breeds (plus a couple atv's and a street bike there for a while).

small bits of electrical tape work well too....although admittedly do lack the bling factor of the carbon thing-a-ma-jiggys

I somehow lucked out and all my cables are exactly the right length to not rub the headtube/fork anywhere, and I don't have to use cable ties or tape, nor do I have excess cable/hose. My Marzocchi does have a disk hose clip on the back of the left slider though, and it tucks everything perfectly.
