looking to get a clipless...
i came across this http://www.blueskycycling.com/produc...rty-Pedals.htm i'm just wondering if any of you can be some of help? pros and cons? this will be my first time using clipless and don't want to spend too much on it too for now. i am sure these smarty pedals works just fine:) thanks.

crank brothers make a fine clipless pedal. they should do the trick.

I'd suggest these
Personally I don't like the idea of plastic on my pedals. I also learned on the next model up from these (the Control Z which is virtually the same thing) and never hesitate to suggest them or any TIME product for that matter. |

You don't need clipless especially if you're not racing and the better half is ixnay'ing it. I've run flats on my trail bike for years and don't plan to change. I love my Times on the commuter and if I ever decide to add them to the trail bike that's the way I'd go, but I haven't found the need to do so.

I recommend a Shamino PD-M424 pedal. This pedal will help you adjust to using "clipless" pedals.

i would reccomend either the Time Z's (as stated by Raiyn), or (for something lighter) the Time ATAC's.

I want to take any chance I can to promote the crank brothers company. I broke one of their eggbeater pedals in a race last fall. (presumably I hit a rock or something) I called them on monday, they sent me a new set of pedals no questions asked. I had them by the next weekend's race.
