Either I'm I technologically incompetent or there is neither a 2007 Moab video on mtbvideos.net nor petefagerlin.com. Of course I could also be both.

edit: Well I guess I'm both, there is a video but the link doesn't take you there. And I still can't find it on your site.

edit edit: It appears that both sites are yours so I can't find the video on the petefagerlin.com site. I'll just discard my computer now :o.

Right click and "save as". It's 178MB.

Yeah I figured that out eventually, thanks.

Very cool. Loved the sequences while on the trail as I really felt like I was there (and that I had mad skillz).

How much raw material to you start with and how long does it take you to edit the movie to something this size?

This little sequence was great at the 5:00 mark. Nice composition:

Wow...The editing and riding was so smooth.

The video almost put me to sleep...in a good way.:)

KayGee 05-03-07 10:02 PM

That was great, but why was it in slow motion?

born2bahick 05-04-07 06:52 AM

Another great Video! The camera really does flatten the terrain out doesn't it? I could tell by the guy's cadence that some of the uphills were a lot steeper than they looked.

Maybe next time we get together you can come show us how to ride at normal speeds.

Dude, you've seen me ride? How did you know I was the fastest person in the world? I guess you must've seen my DH bike with no brakes. Sorry I hurt your feelers, I was just joking around.

I do have a lot of experience and you can tell since I've been here since 09/06 and you've only been here since 03/07 (another joke).

Nope. (and not funny either BTW)

You're confusing my feelings being hurt with being amused by an ankle biter.

Good job on trying to joke around. Unfortunately, you're perhaps the only person that knew you were joking around.

Heh, heh. Angry angry man.

scrublover 05-04-07 02:20 PM

Excellent. I love that stuff.

Cheers!

Sorry, my mistake. I've been laughing too...now we're friends.

edit - oh wait you said "at me". Now we're not friends again.

Whether you're joking or not...

As someone who has ridden that, it's ain't the same type of haul ass down it trail that Por Rim is. The techy stuff is much more down tempo. Plus, some sections along there that you could be going faster on have much worse exposure, and a much higher penalty if you screw up a line at a high velocity... There are plenty of hauling ass low penalty sections as well, but personally, I find the techy bits visually better on video vs. just moving fast.

I know. And it was a joke. BTW, what does your signature mean?

wow. so you're interested enough to ask, but it's easier for you to reply saying you're not going to cut/paste/google it. in the time you replied, you could have.

apathy and laziness at its finest!

Yes.

True dat. Actually, I wouldn't say it's at its finest...Just today, my apathy and laziness has been finer.

Alternative answer: This coming from the guy that links me to the world wide web when I ask him a simple question. You are either being (i) a dick, (ii) lazy or (iii) both. In none of those instances did I feel like putting up with your noise.
