Hybrid choices
 

Hi,

about to buy a weekend bike to go on short rides with my daughter along the Hudson River in NYC. The bike will see mostly pavement and maybe some easy forest trail once in a while on long island. I figured a hybrid bike was the best choice for me since I want to ride comfortably. I am 6'2" and 185 lbs. I grew up riding bicycle ALL the time and am really exited about riding again (have not used a bicycle in 12+ years other than my motorcycle). Anyway, I was hoping to get bike recommendations from forum menbers who have time to share some of their wisdom. My budget is anything under $400. Here are some of the models I have selected

Schwin Sierra Sport
GT Timberline Comfort
Motobecane Elite
Trek 7200

Also look at the Giant, Sedona and Cypress. Great values in comfort hybrids.
