Something weird with my stumpy?

I have a stumpjumper fsr comp , I noticed while a friend was riding it the rear wheel seems to be off of alignment with the front, I can see the front tire to the side of the rear when he was riding it, so I loosened the caliper on the rear brake and messed with the rear wheel until I got it as straight as I could for now.

Any idea's to get me straightned out? The bike is pretty new and I am still making adjustments.

Thanks
Mike

The Specialized QR's can be hard to get tight. A Quality QR works better. The replaceable hanger can get "smeared" where the axle nut rests against it. If so the wheel will not stay aligned. Just replace the hanger.
AS always, if you bought it from a shop, take it to them and tell them whats up.

I'm really liking the fact that I upgraded my wheelset before I took my FSR home.

i read on mtbreview.com that some of the 2003 fsr's just come like that. Apparantly the front triangle and the swingarm on some of the frames is not aligned.
