Help in choosing a bike
 

I'm just getting back into mountain biking after several years and I was looking for some suggestions as to which kind of bike to purchase. I do know that i would like to get a hardtail bike and spend $700 CDN or less.

Some of the options i have come across at my local bike shops are: (all 2007 models)

Norco Wolverine ($645)

Norco Kokanee ($675)

Norco Bushpilot ($550)

Kona Fire Mountain ($579)

KHS Alite 1000 ($650)

My main use for the bike is to bike trails /cross country rides.

Any input on those bikes, along with any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
