Slatyfork

Hey guys,

My friend and I are planning a trip to Slatyfork in June. We are going to be driving down there and plan to camp out for two nights. I know the area around Slatyfork is huge and I wanted to know where the best places to ride were consider we will only have 3 days to explore. I also wanted to know what a good campground was for as to stay at (something centrally located to keep driving to a minimum). Also if you guys had any general advice about doing camping/biking trips it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Go over to www.mtbr.com and post on the wv forum or just search Slatyfork. Could also just pm Davis over at mtbr.com or wait for lowcel to post here.

It's been many years since I've been there last but I bought an area trail map from this place - https://www.ertc.com/mountainbiking.cfm . I've camped at a Bed & Breakfast that had camp sites just down the road from the Elk River Center and also there was a town quite a few miles south that had a few motels and restaurants.
