29er wheelset

can I use cyclocross rims with mountain tires? most of 29er wheelsets are disc only and I have canti brakes.

you can, you probably won't be able to run more that a 1.8 i (45mm) in it.

you should check the rim manufacturers specs and see if there is anything about it. most rims some info on this

Try Rhynolites. They have a rim braking surface.

I've got a set of Chris King hubs with the Salsa Delgado Cross rims and they work out great...

Run a number of different sized tires on them with no major problems but generally run the WTB Nanoraptors.
