A overly asked question
I want to know if I should get a Specialized Hardrock disc or a Rockhopper disc. I am 5'6 (and still growing) 93 lbs. I will be doing alot of XC riding, some dirt jumping, and some street tricks (wheelies, stoppies, ect, ect) I dont want to spend more than a rockhopper disc, as I am on a financial budget.

Go for the Hardrock if you want to do some dirtjumping.

If you know it's an overly asked question why don't you just use the search?
But yeah, Hardrock. |
Go with the less expensive bike, because you're still growing & will probably need a larger frame next year... and, a Hardrock is a great bike.

the hardrock of this year shares rims with the p.1, p.2 and p.2 cromo, so it will be able to take abuse. plus, the hardrock is a much more durable, beefier frame. my friend has a hardrock sport but he likes xc... so he has to work a little harder than me. i have a rockhopper and i'm getting into a little djing, but not before getting a stronger wheelset. wheelies and stoppies can be done with either bike, although a rockhopper is lighter and therefore easier to hop.
still, you'll be better off with a hardrock - more relaxed geometry, and more durable. can't go wrong. |
