i only use road shoes for clipless but would like to buy mtb shoes to get around in, but previous experience has shown most mtb shoes arent very well ventilated. can anyone recommend a mtb shoe with very good ventilation

For clipless shoes I use the specialized mtb comp shoes and they have a lot of mesh and seem nicely ventilated.

www.lakecycling.com .. check the site, many choices. Net-stores have them too,on sale at times, sometimes, some models and sizes, not all. Lake sells shoes made of more leather than some, they DO feel good, they fit and I've worn sneakers alot hotter that make my feet sweat much more.
