Reason No. 31 to wear a helmet

I was out in the rain again (last time I promise!) and was on a straight and level part which I knew well, however, I did not know how slippy the rocks became when wet (the mud was not a problem, thank god for thick tyres and big tread!). I was going reasonably fast when the front tyre went over a rock, slid, and sent my tumbling off. The fall was fine but my head landed square on exactly where a dog had previously thought to itself "why this seems like a good place to have a sh*t" . Luckily a helmet is an easy thing to clean, but it still smells kinda funny!

Reminds me of the time my 100 pound Bouvier dropped her Payload on a walking trail and i didn't have a bag. I thought I would use a stick to flick it into the shrubs, but instead it went airborne and landed on my head. I sure avoided people till i got home.
