That is the ONLY valid excuse for not posting a pic with this comment. I'll check back later.

Well, no pics yet, but a ride review: It's fast. Very fast. Carries an insane amount of speed and out-accelerates many roadies from a stop. On the trails, it flies, just carving lines and catching air the whole time. I love it. The fork, a Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 4, is great, and dialed in perfectly. Even the local hardcore guys, who spend up to 2 grand on hardtails, were impressed. My parents rule

Glad you're enjoying it. Still gonna hit that race at the end of the month? Sounds like you'll really be dialed by then.

Nice. They really need to give the STP horizontal drops.

Nope, this would be it. http://www.giant-bicycle.com/en-CA/b...ain/740/27837/ Apparently, it's a Canada-only bike, as it only appears on the Giant Canada web page.

I'm considering it, but right now it looks like a negative. The only time I have to train is during final exam weeks, and that has to take precedence over the bike, unfortunately. If I feel ready for it, I might. If I do, expect a full report

Thanks. As far as setup goes, it's bone stock, with a soft fork and really stiff tires right now.
