Did a little climbing today.

Mount Thurston to be exact, summit elevation of 1626m (5334 ft) with a total elevation gain of about 1000m (3280 ft). I will let the pictures to the talking.

The downhill portion of this trip was absolutely stunner!! I'm thinking of dragging the big bike up there to give the downhill a proper run. It took about 3 hrs to summit Thurston and approximately 45 mins to rail it down.

Schweet! I'm glad that there are mountains near my home that I can climb in the summer. Nothing like a ***** of a climb to put you in the mood for railing down the other side!
