They ride great. They are strong. They are sexy. They hold value (higher resale for some reason). I own the big brother in the roast and love it. The geometry suits aggressive riding as well as dirtjumping. Very slack compared to a xc bike. I find the bike works better with a 5 inch fork but that is preference. :)

Yea im a out of bounds dirtjumping rouf riding guy my self and my friend as the roast so im not out to go copying him and cuss im on a bit of a budget if u under stand so as long as the kona stuff is strong im happpy!@

Interesting runon sentence...

The only difference between the stuff and roast is frame strenght. The roast has a guesseted chainstay for added strength...otherwise thats it.

The next bike down from the Stuff, the Scrap, has the gussetted chainstays, but lacks the (lame) disc brakes. If you're like me and were going to replace the fork and the brakes anyway, you might consider going with the Scrap instead.

The fork is one step down from the Stuff to the Scrap also. Its not a very big step. Both forks are lame, one is just a little less sticky courtesy some teflon covered stanchions.
