Noob in Need...Specialized Hardrock or GF Opie
I posted a thread a while ago asking about the gf opie got good feedback but then somebody recommended the specialized rockhopper i was just wondering what the difference is parts wise and framewise and etc. and was basically wondering which is overall better cause it seems everyone here has the rockhopper. I'm basically looking for an all mountain hardtail that ill also be using around the town (this will basically be my bike i'll be using for whatever even though i have a schwinn s40 dsx) this bike will be used a LOT!!! any other recommendations are welcome
PS I heard the opie is more for clydes but im 140 so...hahaha Thanks Again

The rockhopper would probably be a better bet. The Opie is more of a freeride bike and I think you'd be better off with the rockhopper if you plan to do some paved riding and it's your all around bike. The rockhopper just might be a bit more versatile than the opie and might better suit what you expect to ride.
