Help with pre-bankruptcy GT info

I picked up an old GT LTS-4 (extra cheap) that was missing the Horst link thinking I could put together a fairly decent bike out of the deal. I've since run into the wall with the lack of information on GTs of old. You get what you pay for, right? Anyone else having the same problem? If we can get enough of us together on this, we could start a GT database... at least give a starting point. It's so strange to have so little information available on our mighty Internet.
Thank you in advance for any help...
