popping wheelies on a Full Suspension

Is it safe? Normally whenever I'm warming up, or if I have give my bike a sudden burst of power, I like to pop my front end up and wheelie for a few rotations. I recently switched from a HT to a FS, and I'm wondering if I am at risk of damaging something since it has all of those pivots and bolts instead of just a welded tube. Could pulling my front end and having all my weight(200lbs) on the back tire at that angle damage something? Or are FS built to handle that just as good as a HT?

Thanks,
Max

My dad used to do it all the time with no problems, and he is 210, and that was on a wal mart bike!

Yeah, you'd probably better steer clear of wheelies now that you have a delicate dually. Leave all that rediculous "stunt riding" to the roadies and their ultra-durable rigids.

Thats the first good bit of advice I've heard on here in a while.

If I post it, there's a good chance it's gonna be sarcastic. It wont hurt a thing, They'll handle the wheelie every now and then.
I'll let Gastro show ya'...

Love the form! Love how you're even training your beer hand to not be concerned with the wheelie.

I wish I could wheelie.

What a long and distinguished list that really is. Imagine what the forum would look like if bike ownership was required to join...
