Look at Marzocchi, the mxpro gets high marks on MTBR here is the best deal I've found:http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...ro+Eta+07.aspx. If you need to use v-brakes you'll need to buy stud/sleeve kit, I know its stupid but you really don't want to buy rst, rock shox, or manitou.

No....you're stupid for posting such horse ****! Captian Crash is a freaking bike superhero next to you.

+1 on that.

Ummmm...the Fox Float 130R I have on one bike out in the garage would be fine if it didn't piss oil any time you ride it hard. But the Pike 454 Dual Air on my trail bike has been solid and trouble free for way more hard miles than the Fox.

Hey, what do you know...I just found a Rock Shox that beats a Fox!

I bet you don't maintain your bikes for sh-t, and I know that pikes ride like ****. The only reason rock shox and manitou are still around is because bike magazines are too big of *****'s to say anything bad about them, to scared to lose valuable revenues.

Rockshox seems to have made a stong effort to compete with fox since Sram tookover. I would like to compare a Reba Race to my Fox F series. For me the big difference between shocks is adjustability. Sure you might never adjust it once it's dialed in, but having a wide range of adjustability to fine tune for each trail you ride is a nice thing to me.

Do you know him? do you have pictures of his poorly maintained bike?

If you don't maintain a fork it will leak oil.

Because maintaining a fork is a sure-fire guarantee that it won't leak oil.

Unless it's a Fox...they have a habitat of leaking oil regardless of how the fork is maintained (i.e., even when brand new).

Then you'd lose that bet.

If you 'know' a Pike rides like **** then you have confirmed my suspicions that you don't have a clue.

It looks as if you're full of it.

I know Never and I've ridden with him(he has stupid skills). I would say that he has as much riding and parts experience as anyone on here. I can tell by reading your ******** post that you don't know squat. I've got a year and a half of riding on Manitou Nixon with no issues....... but my trails are smooth and flat.

I have a ROCK SHOX fork (that you claim are for people who don't ride much, which is total BS and makes you look like an uneducated looser FYI), and i have NEVER, in 3 years of riding just about everywhere, in all terrain, weekly, ever needed to work on my fork, and it has never leaked oil.

*Shakes head* And you've had a lot of experience with Rockshox? I've never had a problem with my rockshox and i'm sure a lot of other people haven't too.

I love my Rock Shox. Its only entry level, as are my riding skills. It suits me and it rides great for how i ride it.

The 'Zocchi on my DH bike is better for DH however. You have to buy the right fork for the right riding.
