OPINONS ON MARZOCCHI AM 3 fork
Hi, I was just wondering if this is a good fork for the money($197 @ Jensons). JensonUSA has the cheapest price by far, and I would use this fork to upgrade the mediocre fork on the Mullet.I haven't heard much about the All Mountain 3 but the increase of travel (140mm) it would provide would be splendid; and would this be a noticeable upgrade over the Manitou Splice 100mm fork (besides travel).
Are they good for some freeride? Light Downhill? DJ?

And Phantomcycles is trying to sell the AM 3 for $750 (australian)!

That's not like $750 cad, it's alot less, but still way above JensonUSA's price.

Being in canada, stick to jenson. They seem to alwasy get the best USPS costs and saves tonnes of money on border pricing.
As for the forks. Its solid, its the FR series little brother, perfect for most trails in bc...

Thx a million (nah,10), I'll probably go the Jenson route if i'm hard-pressed to not get the AM 3's.
So from what i understand - their good forks.

Remember to be careful when upgrading the fork because some frames are spec'd for a certain maximum travel. For instance, I have a XC frame which shouldn't have a fork with more than 100mms of travel. I guess the aluminum can fatigue with the excess travel.

Well, I'm not really sure if the Mullet can take 140mm, i've read reviews on the bike of some people saying that they upgraded to a bigger fork and have no problems currently. That's my only hope. Also the geometry of the Mullet suggests the capacity for a bigger fork. What I mean is, the frames angle would be higher and i like high-rise frames, stuff like roadbike angled frames kill me (hurts my back). So 140mm, hopefully, will fit without fatiguing the frame. It just makes it easier to bike, also high frames help especially for climbing in my opinion.
thx for the help so far, u guys r gr8!
