specialized enduro 2006

Hi

Firstly i want to apologize for my mistakes. I`m from poland. You have propably never heard about poland ;)

I`ve got two questions for you.

I want to buy specialized enduro bike. The basic version from the year 2006 and I don`t know where to find it. Can you help me and show me some shop in usa? Cheaper = better, but it must be new. with warranty and all papers.

The second question is about geometry. Are all of the enduro frames the same? in every milimeter? Every specialized enduro has the same geometry, but some has 150mm forks, and some 130mm. Maby the frame head is difrent? Is it possible? or maby there is something i haven`t thought about?

thanks

Hey I've heard of Poland...you guys are doing great in the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

Since you're interested in getting the Enduro in a U.S. shop, you can go to Specialized's website and click on the "Find a Dealer" link, fill in the relevant information, and the website will give you the name, address and phone number of Specialized dealers in the US. This will be a bit cumbersome though because you'll need to fill in a city and state since the site won't list all dealers in the US.

Also, until 9/15, one of my local bike shops is selling 2007 Specialized mountain bikes for 20%-30% off, including several Enduros. They may also have some 2006 Enduros. Feel free to check out their website at www.thepathbikeshop.com. You can send them an email, they are very good about responding generally.

I'm not too sure about your second question. I always thought that all Enduro SLs had the same geometry, but different geometries from the Enduros, which have a different geometry from the Enduro SXs. I think (again I'm not sure) that Enduro SLs take 150mm forks, SXs take 160mm or 170mm forks, and the regular Enduros take 100-140mm forks. I don't know the range for the SLs and SXs.

The 05-07 enduros are all the same with the exception of the SX (shorter travel 4 cross / dual slalom frame) and the 06-07 SX Trail (longer travel, different shock mount). I know the 07 SXT got a reinforced chainstay, but I'm not sure if that was applied across the lineup.

I found a specialized enduro elite in a garage I cleaned out. I know absolutely nothing about bikes. Does anyone know the best way to get rid of it (Ebay, classifieds, etc)?

The quickest and easirest way would be to give KT to me for free...

But o doubt that will happen so find a shop that buys second hand bikes OE sell it through CL / EBay would be second best best TBH.

First I'd check that the serial number hasn't been reported stolen.

Secondly I'd list it on Craigslist if your local area has very large hills or mountains. If it does not, the bike is not going to be of local interest and will have to be sold on ebay.
