Okay obviously this isn't all the parts for my 2003 Rocky Mountain Flow that I'm throwing together(couldn't fit all the parts on the table) but man I really think this is going to be one kick arse hardtail. I'll have another pic up once it's built but thought I would throw this one on just for the heck of it. So tell me what do you think? I'm stoked about it myself.:D

Man only thing about these(and all bikes for that matter) is that the seats are so slim and being a heavier guy at around 235 pounds I think I'm going to need one of those heavily padded "Fat Arse" seats until I can mange to slim down some.lol Man getting involved in this sport is the best thing that has happened to me in years especially suffering from chronic depression.....and I haven't even rode the thing yet! I used to race motocross like 10 years ago semi pro for team green hopefully some of those old skills will come into play.....but in all honesty this is all for stress relief...I never plan on doing this to compete but just to get out and live life again. You feelin' me?:)

Congrats on getting involved and trying to get better.

But avoid a fat ass seat. You aren't that big ;)...and really you want your butt to get used to a normal seat, you just need to find a normal seat that fits. Try WTB, they tend to be a little wider where it counts.

lol yeah thanks I was just looking at a WTB just ordered one. Still slim but looks much better padded anything has to be better than the one I have.

ya, should be a sweet ride! biking is definitly a great stress releiving sport. when i go for a ride, its like the world isnt there, its just me, my bike, and the trail. your going to have a great time (well, 99.9% chance)

Yah, the bike makes me forget about stuff back in the real world. Even if it doesn't, I can just push harder until I hit a tree and forget everything.

It's a Marzocchi Bomber "All Mountain 3" which has 140mm of travel. I got it for around $200 on a closeout special.

Okay well my bike has finally been completed and I couldn't be happier. It has a 20" frame on it but man my short 5'11" self fits on it like a glove. In fact if it were any smaller I think I would feel too cramped up on it. The only thing I am confused about is that according to the Rocky Mountain website the largest they made the 2003 Flow was 19". Maybe the guy who sold it to me was confused or perhaps he had it custom made to be 20". He does know several pros on a friendly basis maybe he had a hookup. Anyway here are some pics but believe me these pics do this bike no justice. My camera sucks and I took them at night in the kitchen........again.lol I may take some more shots outside during the day later in a couple of days and post those but anyway here's a couple just to see what some of you think:

Also I do notice that the cockpit has more of a tighter feel than most bikes I've tried....but I like it makes it feel real aggressive. It's definately going to be a fun trail/jump bike. Now I just need to get it out the kitchen.hehe
