I sold my Specialized Deviant helmet.

I sold it because it doesn't fit me right. What other bicycle helmets are out there? I know there is the giro remedy, bell bellistic, and Sixsixone helmets. I'm thinking of getting the sixsixone next, but i don't know which one is for bicycles.

I've got the azonic fury. I like it a lot. One of the things i like about it is that you can remove the inner padding so you can wash it when it starts to smell... unsless you like the manliness of the smell

Those full face helmets are kind of overkill for the riding generally associated with a Rockhopper. You could get away with a lighter, more ventilated XC or skate type helmet.

The fox's are nice - lots of protection, but still light and airy.

You may want to try them on before buying. Helmets all fit very differently.

I wish anyone around here stocked full face helmets :/ I tried some on when I was up in MT but wasn't ready to buy yet. Now it's going to be a fitting crapshoot ordering online.

Hey, NickJ how is the fit on that helmet? I notice they only have two sizes Small/Med. and Large/XLarge. I am on the fence are the true to size? I want to order one.

Thanks

Just got it in today, it fits great for me, its adjustable too, very light. Do you know the width of your head? Take that measure first (one inch above eyebrow) and I believe the L/XL starts at 22.8 inches or 23.2 inches, my head is 23.5 inches and I got the L/XL. I don't have the exact numbers since they are on my laptop which at college for the weekend. Call fox to get the size chart!
