Rock y Road 50/50 Race Tucson, Arizona

The Rock y Road 50/50 Race will be held in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, October 20th, 2007 at 6:00am at McDonald Park, 4100 N Harrison Rd, Tucson, AZ.

Course Route:
The mountain bike portion of the race will start at 6:00am with a 50-mile technical loop up into Reddington Pass. The road portion of the ride will consist of an out-and-back ride to Mt Lemon and around the city of Tucson for 50 miles. Both portions combined will have in the neighborhood of 12-14k of climbing. Cyclists can do solo or in 2-person teams.

Headlamps and helmets are required for this race since we have an early start.

sounds like a cool race. If you are doing it solo do you have to use the same bike for both segments?

I think that would make it especially delicious

Good question. You can use 1 or 2 bikes. Some might even want to swap out just the wheel sets for both sections. It is going to be a great, FREE race!
