Rock Shox and Hayes Soles

Hi, Im buying a new bike at a pretty "afordable" price. im planning to upgrade the parts over time, the drivetrain equip is of good spec, LX Xt etc but the Forks are Rock Shox Dart 2 Lockouts, and the brakes are Hayes Sole Hydraulic Disk Brakes

Does any body have any advice on what to expect from these products and should I start saving to upgrade them right away?

The bike is as link below, any info or comments are welcome.

Thanks

Robbie

I ran the Soles for a while until I ruined them in a muddy race. Well, I actually just smoked the pads and bent a rotor. They are not as bad as poeple say, but I went ahead and upgraded to Juicy 5's instead of replacing the damaged parts. They are not that bad for a lower end spec'd bike. I can't comment on the fork.

I tried the Soles once, took them off and bought another set of deore M525 hydros to replace them within two weeks! The Soles were'nt any better than the hayes MX2 cable actuated brakes. ( which sucked at life)

sole's are junk, they only have one piston, hence the name, sole. They're kinda like mechanicals. The way to set it up is so that the fixed pad is really close to the rotor so that the rotor doesn't flex as much. IME, the traditional centering technique (loosen bolts, squeeze lever, tighten bolts) doesn't work.
